NATIONAL DOUGHNUT WEEK
National Doughnut Week was founded by independent baker, Christopher Freeman from Dunn’s Bakery in Crouch End, and has raised an incredible amount for children's charities with the sale of over 14 million doughnuts, since it was created in 1991. In 2005, The Children's Trust became the chosen charity and has received £312,000 from the fundraising event.
There are lots of fun ways for the general public to raise money: taking on a doughnut-eating challenge with friends or work colleagues, by holding a doughnut-themed event or simply by buying doughnut treats to share at a coffee break. It's simply a sweet way to show you care!
