This Brownie Mix is about time! Over the years we have put a twist on our various mixes to create pretty much everything in the baking line from Bakewells to banoffees and now brownies!

Shamrock Bread Mix 12kg


1kg Wright’s Shamrock Bread Mix   

 

600ml - Water

   

Shamrock is a soda bread and therefore does not require the addition of yeast.

  

METHOD:                                                                                                  

Place all the above ingredients into a bowl.


Mix together to form a soft clear dough.

Rest dough for 5 minutes prior to moulding and shaping.

Cut the dough into 450g pieces and mould in round balls.

Rest the dough for a further 5 minutes prior to pinning out to 17cm (7 inch) in diameter.

Cut each into 4 quarters (like a scone round) for the 450g piece.

Rest for a further 10-15 minutes prior to baking.                         

Bake at 215°C (420°F) for 25 minutes. 

                                        

Tip : The loaf will sound hollow when tapped on the base, if baking is complete. 

INGREDIENTS:                                                                                           

Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Cracked Wheat, Pinhead Oats, Wheat Bran, Sugar, Raising Agents: E450a, E500, Buttermilk Powder (Milk), Chickpea Flour, Whey Powder (Milk), Malted Barley Flour, Salt.
