WRIGHT'S - FIRST APPEARANCE AT THE ENFIELD TOWN SHOW
18 August 2005 00:00

G.R. Wright & Sons Ltd., flour millers at Ponders End - London's last flour miller and Enfield's oldest business - will be exhibiting for the first time at the Enfield Autumn Show on Saturday and Sunday 10th and 11th September.
Wright's will be launching their latest product at the show, their new Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix, which requires the addition of only oil and water and can be made by hand or uniquely, in a bread making machine! Wright's Chocolate Fudge cake mix was listed in all Morrison's Stores this week.
Wright's will also be holding a draw to win a free Morphy Richards bread-making machine each day of the show - it is the latest bread maker with a collapsible paddle.
'Deb the Bread' at Wright's flour mill said "it will be our first time exhibiting at the Enfield Town Autumn Show on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September 2005. As Enfield's oldest company, it's about time we made an appearance in the Town Park. Claire and I will be in the trade stand area so for any of you going, please look out for us. Try a free sample of Chocolate Fudge Cake - and enter the free draw for the Morphy Richards bread making machine".
Wright's have been milling since 1867 and is a five-generation family business working on a site on which there has been a flour mill since 1067. Part of the success has come since the company launched a range of bread and cake mixes, again all suitable for bread making machines or for making by hand which will also be available at a special show price from their stand at the Enfield Town Show.
