BAKED BY YOU AT HOME FOR US ALL TO ENJOY
01 May 2016
How cheerful are these cupcakes served in a mini bucket and spade? Thanks Jackie – these are made with our Madeira cake mix, topped with buttercream and crushed rich tea biscuits have been used for the sand! Lastly, a finishing touch with a milk chocolate shell! A taste of summer surely and with the wonderful weather we have all been enjoying I would say these are just Wright!
Well, after the Bank Holidays – many feel it is a bit of drag to get
back to work but for me – I love to get in and sift through the e mails
over the last 4 days to see all your beautiful Bank Holiday bakes.
Thanks to Sandy who absolutely made my day and gave me such super
picture to share with you all. There are lots more photos of the Fairy Castle Cake step by step here and if you are wondering about how the turrets are done, the secret is Swiss Rolls !
Neil has cut his Parmesan & Sundried Tomato bread from his bread making machine saying it was "delicious with a house filling aroma!" Nice one Neil, there is no way that slice is going to fit in that toaster in the background tho!
Oh who doesn’t love Pooh? Well, here are two! Linda’s lovely cakes, both made with our Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix there were two parties to cater for around a house move! Linda said “Both cakes, finished in Renshaw’s, were very successful and easily kept the shape of the tin and came out easily too”.
Oh how handsome are you? Hedgehog rolls made with our Oat & Linseed bread mix! You achieve the dough spines by snipping the dough when proved/doubled in size. Thanks so much Patterjack & Tweed for a sneeky peep at these little guys!
Thanks Linda for sharing the cutest Cinderella cake with us! She shall go to the ball, with some help from Wright’s Madeira and Chocolate Fudge cake mixes, buttercream and pretty blue icing.
Jackie had a fantastic Bake for Heroes sale using our Orange Cake Mix and Victoria Sponge Kit for ease and convenience. They must have been good as she raised £270 !
Then there were all sold!
Jackie also did a fabulous Orange Swirl Cake made with our Chocolate Fudge and Orange cake mixes!
It looked very interesting when it was cut too!
Thanks Andrea for tweeting us at @Wrightsbaking. It was her first time using a bread mix and was very impressed with our Oat & Linseed bought in either Asda, Morrison’s or Sainsbury’s. Nice looking loaf.
Pauline made an orange jelly and put the rest of the oranges in it, put it in the cake tin to set, then once set, put the cake into the tin turned it upside down, iced the top cake finishing with the left over oranges, everyone said it tasted lovely and Pauline was so pleased and now can't wait to try some more ideas with the Orange cake mix!
Good looking loaf! A little advice from our helpline here at the mill and David has produced this handsome fella from the bread machine he was having problems with - so glad he got it Wright with our Mixed Grain!
Jackie's lovely Madeira cupcakes are just out of the oven with a terrific home made crack along the top - then delightfully decorated when cooled with jam and buttercream - oh and a chocolate - how very decadent!
Thanks Cheryl for tweeting us @Wrightsbaking with your Chocolate Fudge cake tray bake with added Mint Creme Oreo's - it looks amazing!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful bakes this month!
