Thanks Jackie for sharing your amazing weekend cake bakes. My slice is the one with the chocolate strawberry on, by the way! Recently Jackie has been making Teacher's treats for end of term which is in the shot below.

Thanks Margaret McGechie for sharing your selection of cupcakes made with our Toffee cake mix. "Some never even made it to the decorating stage lol. They were delicious. First time I have used the mix but will definitely make again. Going to stock up".

Edith has created some delicious chocolate buns with our Chocolate Fudge base and a lushiously silky ganache type topping - simply popping a chocolate on the top is very tempting! For the WW1 Centenary, when many of us turned off the lights at 10pm and lit a candle, Edith's cupcake idea stole the show with a simple rice paper topper - thanks as always Edith.

I love this Morris Man cake!  Clever Edith - with it's bells and whistles and everything going - this was made for a fit persons 50th - if you Morris Dance you are fit - believe me!!

I am really knocked out by your wonderful ideas and clever presentations month after month - especially when someone shares their very first attempt and big thanks to Jacqueline Jones for sharing her toffee cupcakes with buttercream, melted toffee top and silver Dragee balls - i have it on very good authority that these were absolutely delicous!



Jackie Heaton has put together this heavenly Haribo cake and made it in one of the giant cupcake tins that we see more and more of in the shops.  For best results with Wright's cake mixes you will need to use 750g of dry mixture, add the necessary oil and water then put 2/3 of batter in bottom case and the rest in the top. I love the matching cupcakes - cute!

With a much awaited new series on Wednesdays BBC 1 at 8pm of The Great British Bake Off – I am sure we will all again be bitten by the baking bug - keep them coming!
