SHOWS IN 2008
03/06/2008 00:00:00

Here we are with the list of shows and exhibitions we are due to attend throughout the year:

The first of our public shows went very well both in the Netherlands this year at the Libelle Show on 19 – 25 May.  Thanks to all of you who visited the stand both new and existing members.

The second of our shows was held in “Soggy Suffolk”.  The Suffolk Show was on the 28th and 29th in Ipswich.  Thanks to all of you who visited the stand we are so sorry about the weather but it was great to see so many of you there again – we hope for brighter weather at the following shows:

Our next show will be the Royal Norfolk Show on 25th and 26th June in Costessey, Norfolk – nice show with lovely local people – we look forward to seeing you.

We will be attending the Royal Agricultural Show in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire from 3rd – 6th July 2008.  We will, once again, be in the food hall with our bread and cake mixes.

We are pleased to again attend the New Forest & Hants Show this year, in beautiful Brockenhurst, from 29th through to 31st July.

We will be in delightful Dorset for the Dorset County Show in Acland Road, Dorchester on 6th and 7th September.

We are delighted to again attend the Newbury Show on 20th – 21st September this year – we look forward to meeting more Home Bakers of Berkshire.

Finally we will, of course, be at The BBC Good Food Show, NEC in Birmingham from 26th November to 30th November 2008.

The Leicestershire Show went well according to the Leicestershire Women’s Institute Home Economics team – they are pictured slicing up Wright’s cakes at the show on 3rd, 4th & 5th May.  They had 2 very good days at the show and the weather over 3rd, 4th & 5th of May was wonderful.  There was a reported increase of attendance, which was up 15% on last year for them.

As well as offering tasters of Wright’s cakes they had a bread making machine running, which encouraged further members of the public over to their stand with that gorgeous aroma.  Many were surprised how quickly all the different flavoured breads could be achieved – no surprise here – we got it Wright!
