Wright’s Scofa is a non-yeasted soda bread mix. It is produced with high fibre, coarse wheat bran and is easily made requiring no rising. Unsuitable for bread machines, unless baked on the “cake” programme. Scofa can be used for cakes, bread and rolls, biscuits and buns and is perfect for anyone missing fresh bread on a yeast free diet.

We at Wright's know that our complete bread and cake mixes work in bread making machines as each batch is tested using a bread maker just like yours at home.

Our Naan bread mix is best cooked under a grill and our non-yeated Scofa soda bread does not really lend itself to baking in a bread making machine.

Our ciabatta is highly yeasted and half a pack of this can be used in larger machines. A 25 minute burst on the dough programme in your machine can be used to prepare doughs that are then finished by hand.
